Modern Digital Art | Portfolio

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at some of my latest modern digital art works. The themes in most of my art are continuing patterns, bright colors and incorporating nature. My art is modern because I don’t zero in on one style only per se but incorporate different styles and try new things.

While most of my time in the art world has been using paint, acrylics and watercolors. Now, I spend most of my time on the digital platform. I starting taking an interest in drawing when I was about four years old, cats were something that I used to draw. I began painting a lot when I took a watercolor class in college. I showcased my art in cafes and at Barnes and Nobles.

I create modern digital art, designs that inspire me seem to never end. Still, I try to focus on topics. Lately, geometry and using different color pallets have been what I am experimenting with. I use lots of blue hues, turquoise, magenta.

My process is first choosing a design. Sometimes I have photos I work from, sometimes the design is from my imagination and often from photos on the internet. Then I think of colors. Color is important to me. Some of my paintings are very loud and bright. I often gravitate to a lot of color.

The designs I create would often look nice on bed spreads, mugs, pillows or framed in a modern apartment or condo. I design them to complement or brighten life. Also, I simply seek to create designs that are fun and make you feel good. For me the joy is in creating.
