Sweet foxy shirt. This fox was my stab at creating a pop culture piece. It was a lot of fun. I actually drew this in black ink. I then scanned it and added to a digital art program then painted it in. I think foxes are so beautiful. Did you know foxes only live between 2-5 years? National Geographic has a nice site on the red fox. They live all over the world in a diverse set of environments. They are omnivorous and eat vegetables and fruits as well as rodents and birds.
Like cats, they are solitary animals. While this piece of art is orange, foxes come in a variety of colors. Once while on a hike in the Tetons in Wyoming I saw a fox staring at me in the forest. I was surprised at his markings. He was brindle. The colors were dark gray, black and bits of orange and white. He almost looked cat like to me.
